About Il Falò Wood-Fired Kitchen
Il Falò celebrates the art of cooking with fire - with quality ingredients prepared skillfully and cooked to perfection over the open flame.
Our wood-fired oven and grill add a kiss of fire to artisan-quality meats, fresh seafood, vegetables sourced from our local partners, pizzas on house-made sourdough, and elements of our craft cocktails.
With an emphasis on the craft of cooking, ingredients are sourced thoughtfully, pastas and breads are made in-house, and a contemporary approach is applied to Italian tradition.

In Raleigh, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across North Carolina do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 6:30–10:30 am. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Il Falò Wood-Fired Kitchen at (919) 864-9090; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 315 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Dining in for dinner. I was immediately met with a kind server named Nicole. She suggested an appetizer I couldn’t refuse, the whipped ricotta dip. delicious. I asked for recommendations on entrees, her suggestion with the baked rigatoni, or the italian sausage pizza was a hard decision. I went with the Rigatoni and couldn’t have been happier. She said the pizza chef was top notch but the way she described the rigatoni I couldn’t refuse. ill be back for the pizza. 10/10 would recommend for service and meal

If you’re overlooking Il Falo because it’s attached to the Westin Element, don’t. This is easily one of the most underrated Italian restaurants in Raleigh. We went on a Friday night with reservations (definitely recommend), and while it started off relaxed, it picked up after 8 PM with both hotel guests and larger groups coming in. The food completely exceeded expectations. The truffle fries were a standout, crispy, loaded with flavor, and a must-order. The pepperoni pizza (wood-fired) had incredible flavor and a perfectly crisp crust. I ordered the chicken parm with homemade pasta, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and a huge portion (I got about three meals out of it). My husband had the baked ziti and loved it. We originally wanted the arancini, but they were sold out, honestly, not even needed because the portions were so generous. The wine selection was also solid, we had a great bottle that paired perfectly with everything. For dessert, the olive oil cake was the standout, moist, rich, and absolutely worth ordering. We paired it with the pistachio gelato, which was good, but the cake is the real reason to save room. Service made the experience even better.

The food is delicious! You would not even know you are in a hotel. Diamond is such a bubbly and sweet server. The Bartender I cannot remember his name but he was great as well. Highly recommend the pizza or the caesar salad with salmon.

Dominique was amazing as well as the hostess whose name I didn't catch. From start to finish we had a great experience. Dominique gave us great suggestions on drinks as well as the dessert. I had the seasonal crown royal drink and it was definitely a winner. The crispy skin salmon and spinach risotto was cooked perfectly and is something I would order again. Lastly she recommended the olive oil cake and it's "different" i wasn't going to try it but got it for my dinner guest because he was on the fence about it. The texture is like a really moist cornbread but also sweet. Give it a shot! Overall I would return here again and again just for the ambiance. The bar was open and inviting and it was quiet enough for conversation. Kudos to the team in the front of house for the hospitality and shout out to the kitchen for Absolutely killing the food!! Perfect combination!

Il Falò Wood-Fired Kitchen offers a sleek and contemporary space that is as inviting as it is impressive. I came for a business lunch and found the environment to be perfect for conversation. The seating was comfortable, the lighting was warm, and parking in the back was more than sufficient. The service was attentive without being intrusive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I ordered the salmon and shared a pizza with my group. Both dishes were flavorful and nicely prepared. While the food was very good, I was hoping for a little more given the elegant surroundings and price point. Even so, it was a satisfying lunch and I could easily see myself returning for a more relaxed evening meal. The bathrooms were as modern and upscale as the dining area, which added to the overall polished feel of the restaurant. Unfortunately, they were out of napkins during my visit, so I could not dry my hands. That was a small detail in an otherwise high quality experience. Il Falò is well worth a visit whether you are on a date or meeting colleagues.
